Watching Jenna grow in the gorgeous, humble, kind, and funny as hell young woman that she is today has been so cool. Having her in front of my camera over the years has been an absolute honor.
I just love everything about this session. The lighting is unreal in their house and the decor was on point! It made for some super cute detail shots, and I was stoked to see that all of their congratulation cards were still up on their mantle.
When we set up our wedding budget, we considered the larger items but smaller expenses slipped through the cracks. I even used wedding budget tools and read blog, after blog, but it was hard to account for EVERY little thing. Especially when plans changed, or minds changed (mine). So, before finalizing your own budget, be sure to review these expenses that we overlooked to make sure that you have everything covered.
I do believe that there is at time and a place for social media, and I do not think I would get rid of it fully, but I decided to do a 30 day experiment and see what life would be like without the distraction. Here are some of my thoughts through the month:
The way that David looked at Bo when he saw her for the first time; it was straight out of a movie. Every girl, everywhere in the world, dreams of finding a man who will look at them this way.
There was so much snow where we were, at one point while I was doubling with Dayna, I had to get off of the sled to allow for some tactful maneuvering and sunk way down into the snow! Almost at waist level! So after that the snowshoes came out, but the damage was done and I was soaked and beautifully numb by the time the session was over LOL!
So I always thought that choosing songs for the wedding would be easy, and boy was I wrong! First, we do not have a “song.” Mainly because we do not have the same taste in music and because Collin, like most men, does’t listen to the words and get all mushy like us girls do.
I have been lucky to have worked with many great people.
Here are some of them, as well as a few I hope to meet soon (in alphabetical order)
Don't get me wrong, the weather in Puerto Vallarta was absolutely amazing the entire week we were there, but we did not really have a sunset at all for the first few days because of cloud coverage and I was getting extremely worried for our sunset session! We woke up on Wednesday to a blue blazer day and not a cloud in the sky, and immediately I felt like doing a happy dance because that meant that we were going to have an awesome sunset.
On April 22nd, 2017 I arrived at the airport bright and early, camera in tow, to travel to beautiful Puerto Vallarta for Ryan and Carrie's wedding. In total, including myself, there were 41 of us on the plane and I do not think that Westjet was prepared for this bridal party, as they literally ran out of alcohol before we landed in Mexico.
