I started working at UNBC in 2013, and shortly after I started an email circulated from a woman named Savannah. She was looking for photographer recommendations for her sisters wedding and I threw my name in the hat of options. I never knew that responding to her email would start one of my favorite client, turned friend, relationships ever.

Since Sierra'a wedding I have photographed many events for Savannah's family including:

- Sierra and Richie's wedding

- Saffonoff girls

- Sierra and Richie's Maternity

- Savannah and Lucas' engagement

- Sierra and Richie's family portraits

- Savannah and Lucas' wedding

- Savannah and Lucas' pregnancy announcement

- Savannah's 30th birthday portraits

- Savannah and Lucas' maternity

After this many photo sessions it is only natural that we have become friends. Our sessions are always so much fun and we chat like high school kids when we are together. I am not a religious person; however, after their maternity session while we were saying goodbye, Lucas said to me "and tonight we will pray for your family Bree." We had chatted briefly about events in our lives and hardships that we had in common earlier that day. I drove away with tears in my eyes. These two are such genuine people and they have nothing but love in their hearts for others.

Now one thing that you need to know about this session is that it was -28C outside! We started inside just in case we would not make it outside, but Savannah was determined to make it work since she had rented a gorgeous dress from K.C. Mae Maternity Photo Wear.

Savannah and Lucas, I cannot wait to watch you two grow as parents and see the amazing person this this little nugget becomes!
