A Year in Review: Twenty Eighteen

Being in the last few days of 2018, I find myself doing a lot of reflection on the different events and memories made. Although, this may also have something to do with being stuck at home after a dump of 35cm of snow. This year has been a whirlwind of dreams coming true and growth.

HIGHLIGHTS (Professional and Personal)

  • Travelled to Mexico to not only witness great friends tie the knot, but to photograph it

  • Photographed a wedding on the Sunshine Coast, a bucket list item of mine!

  • Finally visited Tofino and got engaged while there!

  • Found a new position within the University of Northern BC and I am happier there than I ever thought possible

  • Narrowed my photography specialization to weddings and engagements

  • Photographed a Stanley Cup event for Brett Connolly and his family (and yes, I drank out of the cup)

  • Kamloops to visit very important people in my life

  • Annual Bucket List deal week! (January)

  • Prince Rupert and Nanaimo with work at UNBC

  • My Bachelorette Weekend (I hate surprises so this is killing me)

  • Honeymoon in Jamaica

  • My big brothers wedding!!!

  • On top of this busy year, I have taken on 6 weddings and each of them has a unique feel to them and I cannot wait to photograph them!

This year has been beyond amazing and 2019 is looking to be even better!

With that said, here is a look at some of my favorite images from the past year:

I have so much love and appreciation for my clients and every single person who supports, promotes and books me. BOP has gotten larger than I ever imagined, and 2018 has been the most successful year yet. Thank-You to each and every one of you!
