My Journey to the Altar - A recap of my day

THE NIGHT BEFORE WAS SLEEPLESS. I tossed and I turned with my mind running a mile a minute. Listing off things that still needed to be done. Thinking about all things that could go wrong. Listening to the rain pounding on the roof of my moms house and worrying that we would have to move the wedding to under the tents in our backyard. I wondered if Collin would cry, I pondered if my makeup would run. I was so stressed out that I was in the bathroom all night. I was stressing for no reason!

My Journey to the Altar: changing my last name

I AM MARRIED! Holy cramoly! One thing I found that really sucked is that the marriage felt so incomplete until our Marriage License came in and I could start legally changing my name! As it turns out, the process is mildly annoying but can be made easier with some prep! About a month before the wedding I did a bit of research and had a list with some necessary things to change, and how to go about changing them which made the process bearable.

Kyle & Jamie | University of Northern British Columbia Wedding

I think that this was my favorite UNBC wedding to date! I have never seen a ceremony in the courtyard, but I think I am in love and hope that I get to photograph MANY more here. The MacLellan's | Trash the Dress Session

Don't get me wrong, the weather in Puerto Vallarta was absolutely amazing the entire week we were there, but we did not really have a sunset at all for the first few days because of cloud coverage and I was getting extremely worried for our sunset session! We woke up on Wednesday to a blue blazer day and not a cloud in the sky, and immediately I felt like doing a happy dance because that meant that we were going to have an awesome sunset.

Carrie & Ryan | Now Amber Resort ~ Puerto Vallarta

On April 22nd, 2017 I arrived at the airport bright and early, camera in tow, to travel to beautiful Puerto Vallarta for Ryan and Carrie's wedding. In total, including myself, there were 41 of us on the plane and I do not think that Westjet was prepared for this bridal party, as they literally ran out of alcohol before we landed in Mexico.
